Upcoming Events Monthly Silent Siege - March 20. Bound4Life Kelowna chapter will be hosting their monthly Silent Siege at Kelowna General Hospital on Pandosy Street on Saturday, March 20th from 11 am to 12 pm. The Siege is part of an ongoing campaign to call upon God to end abortion in Kelowna and across Canada. Sieges are held every month at various locations around Kelowna, and the group intends on sponsoring them for the foreseeable future. The UBCO campus, Knox Mountain, and other locations are being considered as sites for upcoming Seiges. The monthly sieges have been occurring since last fall and have seen anywhere from 40 to 140 people attending. Organizers are hoping for a large turnout to March's Siege, citing fair weather and promotion of the event as catalysts for a sizeable turnout. Kelowna Right to Life is excited to announce that the first 40 Days for Life ever to be held in British Columbia will take place in Kelowna February 17 to March 28! 40 Days for Life campaigns are being simultaneously held at dozens of locations across the U.S. and Canada. Past initiatives have seen dozens of clinic workers convert to the pro life side, abortion mills reduce their hours of operation or shut down altogether, and hundreds of abortion-minded women change their minds and choose life for their babies. The initiative is based on the idea that God used the 40 day time frame to transform individuals, communities, and even the entire world. From Noah's flood to Moses on the mountain to the disciples after Christ's resurrection, it is clear that God sees the transformative value of His people accepting and meeting a 40-day challenge.
