About 100 people came out to celebrate life at Protect Human Life Week's opening event, the Walk for Life in Mission Creek Park. Despite pressure from pro abortion activists to rescind the pro life proclamation, the City of Kelowna went ahead and proclaimed September 23 - 30, 2012 as Protect Human Life Week in Kelowna.
